Columbus Macro Dynamic/Strategic
COLUMBUS MACRO DYNAMIC GLOBAL PORTFOLIOS (Allocation Series 20-100) are professionally managed total portfolio solutions that combine a globally-diversified strategic core with a tactical satellite strategy. Dynamic Global Portfolios cover five risk objectives including conservative (20% equity), balanced (40% equity), moderate (60% equity), growth (80% equity), and aggressive (100% equity) with each profile also available in a format for tax-aware investors. The strategy utilizes cost-efficient exchange traded funds (ETFs). Core construction relies on rigorous relative valuation, and macro measures of growth, inflation, and financial conditions. Asset class correlations and historical volatilities are also considered when building the broadly diversified core allocation. Rebalancing decisions consider the materiality of changes versus trading and tax considerations. A smaller, more active satellite allocation is utilized to complement long-term strategic core positions. Satellite positions can flexibly adapt to changing market conditions and also enable granular implementation of our team’s favorite macro themes at the sector, industry, or country levels. Once implemented, overall core and satellite asset class holdings, as well as their interactions, are actively monitored to ensure portfolios remain consistent with clients' risk and return preferences.
